A proactive talent attraction channel for high-volume, niche hiring, challenges

PwC is one of the largest professional services network in the world and one of the Big Four accounting firms and employ over 300,000 people globally.

We supported PwC as part of a significant drive to expand their SAP Consulting practice.  While the firm have a well-established in-house experienced hires function they needed extra capacity to build a pipeline of candidates, within a highly specialised and in demand talent market, for existing and future requirements in this area. 

In partnership with PwC added an extra channel to their recruitment strategy, proactively identifying, engaging and introducing relevant individuals from ‘passive’ talent pools.

This was a 25-day project with the following outputs;

  • Talent map with over 360 individuals across UK – focussing on 6 competitors
  • Approached 157 individuals
  • Engaged 51 individuals
  • 12 hires made from this project
  • Extensive talent community established for long-term hiring

A smaller top-up project run the following year resulted in 3 further hires.
